It's a nice little coffee and comic shop with some good coffee and a small selection of comics.

They have weekly new comics and they do have a few one shots or limited incentive pieces. They have a small selection of collectibles and figurines some rare some heavily mass-produced.

When it comes to older comics you're looking more current age rather than silver or gold age. The staff is really friendly and the coffee shop makes good coffee.

The only downside of the place is the parking outside is limited and there's no outlet when you turn into the 2nd isle of the lot so you have to reverse out which is frustrating.

Nice staff, some comics over priced but a comfortable atmosphere. Very hip.

Very different...u can read and have a cup of coffee or more. Prices are reasonable, and the staff, in particular the owner, are very friendly and helpful and engaging. Many comic book selections and games that you can rent and play. What was the best part was how cozy and homey it felt. The drawback was parking. While we were able to find one, it took some time. Overall, loved this joint.

My girlfriend and I came here on a Saturday and it was understandably very busy! It was our first time so we were excited to see what they had to offer.

We ordered a Buckeye cold brew coffee, a lavender and blackberry tea (the Nirvana), and two sandwiches (the Black Phillip and the Caprese.)

The sandwiches were some of the best I have ever had, and the drinks were absolutely delectable. The Buckeye was the exact flavor of its namesake, and the Nirvana was light and refreshing, perfect for a hot day.

There were so many comics and collectibles to look at and everything was very clean and organized. We will definitely be coming back again!!

Definitely the best comics cafe in FL with great customer service. The place is filled with memorabilia comics and board games you can actually rent to play there.

The menu was exceptional and the prices are very affordable.

Owners are super nice and friendly. I got one of the best cookies I’ve ever had: white chocolate salted caramel. They had a very interesting coffee menu.

Great toy and comic book collection. They also had vinyl! One of the coolest spots to hang out in the Orlando area.

It was a great place to spend some time with my mom on Mother’s Day!

Blackbird Comics and Coffeehouse in Maitland, FL, is a fantastic spot for comic enthusiasts and coffee lovers alike. The vibrant atmosphere, extensive comic book selection, board game rentals, collectibles, coffee, and food selection make it a unique and enjoyable destination. I especially loved the large collection of different figurines and collectibles that were displayed above the book shelves and around the store. The staff was friendly, are passionate and knowledgeable, and answered questions quickly when I inquired about different items being in stock. The Coffeehouse portion of the store was also an enjoyable experience. I ordered a cold brew and Avocado Toast both of which were delicious! There is plenty of seating and is just quiet enough where it doesn’t feel awkward but you could still work or read. Whether you're browsing the latest comics or savoring a perfectly brewed cup of coffee, Blackbird offers a delightful experience for comic and coffee fans both young and old.

This place is incredible, talk about a fun safe space to relax, lounge, have a great coffee or tea and play some games or buy some comics. We’ve been coming here for years, and we have never adventures to order food, our go to is always the lotus bees knees. but the coffee is great, the frappes are delicious and they have an additional seasonal menu that changes each month that is so fun. We love the vibes. We can chat, geek out over all the books and comics, or nestle in and play different board games they have available. This place is truly a unique gem and so wonderful

We accidentally discovered this place when we drove by, saw an intriguing sign, and decided to check it out. And what a good hunch it was! Awesome selection of comic books, assorted merchandise, board games to buy or rent. I forgot to take photos, except for the quirky Haunted Mansion themed restroom. I scored a very amazing Lemmy action figure, stickers and whatnot. And I really wish I had bought the full size Gremlin that was being unboxed while we were there. Thanks also to David for the pleasant exchange and showing us the Lost Boys poster signed by the cast. We will be back next year for sure!
