Great selection! They had a large selection of clothing items and housewares. There were lots of men’s button downs, which is exactly what I was looking for. There’s good parking and a lot of places around there if you have errands.

Great prices. Staff is always friendly. I walked away with wayyyy too much today but less than $50 for a bunch of toddler toys and crafts and books is okay with me!

ARC #19 is a place with a great purpose, but my experience with the night manager, Kevin G., was disappointing. I picked out a nice chair and explained that I needed to get money from the bank. Kevin assured me he would hold it for me until I returned, which I said would be about an hour. When I returned 1.5 hours later, having taken out my savings to purchase the chair, I was told, "we sold it, you took too long." Kevin was abrasive and dismissive, breaking his word. Everyone deserves to have their agreements respected, regardless of their financial situation. Kevin G. demonstrated a lack of respect and consideration that is unacceptable for anyone, let alone a manager.

I usually love shopping at ARC but I will NEVER go here again! I am so upset. My husband and I went on senior day and it wasn’t until we got home that we realized we did not get the senior discount. Unacceptable! What would have been 30 something dollars turned out to be 60 something dollars. To other shoppers. Pay attention when you get your total and make sure you are being charged the correct amount. Now we can only get store credit. Ugh. So so upset. I will never shop at this location again.
Update: so, I called the store when my husband was on his way back to the store to fix the situation. The supervisor that was there on April 2 at 8:45 PM is the one who I spoke with. I told her my husband was on his way and she said OK. My husband got there at 8:58 and they told him there was nothing they could do and for for him to come back in in the morning. So, not only do we not get the senior discount, but we had to waste gas money going there and back. This is a ridiculous store and now that I think of it, nobody should shop there. They have horrible customer service and they don’t care about their customers at all.

Another update: So ARC is proving to be an absolutely terrible company in so many ways.
Let me explain. Reason 1: The morning after our incident, I called corporate and left a {highly emotional}voicemail. I never received a call back. It’s been months since I made that call. Crickets. Reason 2: I was speaking with a friend whose special needs sister works at Arc and does the same amount of work as everyone else, and gets paid $8/hour!!! That is not enough to live on and it is criminal!!! Makes me so angry! Reason 3: I just went to one of their locations today and the prices were outrageous! $20 for a broken piece of pottery? $37 for a homemade painting What?! In conclusion, I will not be supporting a company who under pays their employees and overprices their items that they get for FREE. I will not be donating items to them any longer. I would rather give them to my community. I will be supporting local non profit thrift stores. Who is joining me in boycotting ARC?

They won’t let you in 15-10 minutes before the store closes. Even if it says they close at 6, security person is so rude.

I brought up a blatant and large stain on a pair of pants listed for 10 dollar (overpriced) to the manager Liz... She was extremely rude and disrespectful and almost took it personally that I asked for a discount on the item. I'm always polite and respectful... I'm a disabled combat veteran who was recently street homeless. I don't care how bad of a day you're having. It's not my fault. It seems all of her staff are afraid of her also because of her volatile demeanor. You can find another place to work if you don't like it at Arc, I get that it's not an easy job, especially management but you're going to make it a lot worse for yourself and your subordinates by victimizing your valuable and friendly customers simply because you had a bad day. I would be grateful to have your position/job and I'm sure many others wouldn't hesitate to take your place. Be grateful .. get a therapist if you need one or find a different job.

Enjoy thrifting and have gone to 10+ arc locations in Colorado. I like this location because it has a lot of stuff in all sections.

Pros: cheap, wide variety, quick turnover of items, good fines especially on their Saturday 50% off

Cons: thieves are common, staff could be rude, crowded with people and homeless population stay by entrance a lot of the time.

I did have a negative experience with one of the staff where she opened the fitting room while changing instead of knocking. Fitting rooms have been unlocked the 3 times I’ve been there

Today I went in to get some clothes for my daughter and the shopping experience was great and I found what I was looking for. The reason for the one star review is because of an interaction I saw between a customer and an employee. The customer was a disabled person who was looking through the pre-packaged bags. When the employee approached him I thought she was simply going to remind him that they were not meant to be open and are supposed to be bought whole. That is not at all what happened. She approached the gentleman and very rudely told him that he needed to stop because then they "can't sell the items" and it makes it "harder for them". The gentleman responded by apologizing and letting her know he was willing to pay for it since he made a mistake he was unaware of. The employee then proceeded to tell the man that they can't sell things if he keeps doing that and that she will have to call the supervisor on him. The poor gentleman ended up just setting everything down and walking out the store because he felt uncomfortable around her. I did not believe that she handled that in a professional manner. I asked other customers around me if they had noticed the interaction to verify that I heard everything properly and they also expressed they felt uncomfortable by her and did not feel that she was kind in the situation. I took it upon myself to ask if she worked there because she was standing in line holding food and on her phone. She told me that she did in fact work there and I asked if she was the manager/supervisor and she told me no. She then proceeded to ask me why and I told her that I had seen the interaction with this customer and that I would like her name to speak to the manager. She told me that she would speak to the manager herself. I told her I would rather do it and if I could please have her name. She responded with " I am done with this conversation."I ended up speaking to one of the supervisors up front who was amazing and listened attentively. She reassured me that she would look into it and thanked me for letting her know.
