Absolutely disgusted with the service here.

We are currently in a hire car after someone crashed into us, we have had an oil top up light come on, hire company happy for us to deal with it.

As we have used Halfords for years down south for this type of thing, oil top up, wiper blade change, light change etc we thought we’d come along and get it done again.

Boy were these guys NOT what we were expecting, explained the situation and basically got told “what do you want us to do?” Umm how about your job?

The website even states for £5 they will top up the oil if it’s bought at the same time. Nope, point blank refused saying “we are a retail store” yes mate you are… BUT you are also trained to help people in this situation with minor mechanical issues. I should know! I voted as a shareholder to get you all trained!

Very very poor service and will not be coming back to this store again.

Ruth please read the review! I have contacted you multiple times by every means possible. How about you contact me? Another good company gone to the dogs. Ordered click and collect. Get messages items ready to collect. Go to store items not ready for collection despite being told they were. Contacted customer service several times. Live chat refuse to deal there and then promised someone back in touch with 24 hours. Never hear of them again! Chased up several times on live chat, either don't answer or disconnect. Tried phoning, promised call back which never happened. Refuse to refund or provide item. In the end had to request refund through bank. Awful customer service in shop, live chat and on phone.

The tray on the underside of my car came loose. I popped round to Halfords and although it was close to their closing time, Ben dealt with that issue for me really quickly, and couldn't have been more helpful.

Excellent service. I needed a new battery for my car and Doug went above and beyond checking everything was okay, giving me different options and getting the new battery fitted despite a few issues (different shape to car manufacturers battery.) I felt confident and reassured that my car was in safe hands and the problem would be solved, which it was! Thanks!

Person on till 1 would not accept Jaguar Premium Members Card this has happened before , other occasions no problem. Whats is the problem I was told there is nothing on his till to identify a discount.

Was a very quick and easy experience - the gent who served me was super helpful - literally took a couple of minutes but saved me loads of aggro myself.
