I came here today looking to buy the new iPhone pro for my partner as a present. I was told by the sales rep at the till that they don't sell phones and that I have to sign up for a contract to get a phone. I don't understand why this is the only phone store to operate like this. I was then told to go look elsewhere. I bought the phone brand new unlocked for any network elsewhere. But still I don't understand how I could be let to walk out the door when the phone is in stock... is a contract worth more than a 1400 euro sale?

Got lied to by one of the sales team in the store and moved house (which they said was okay and that i could go into any store to return it if needs be... which was untrue!!) so have to get someone from galway to go into the store for me because these people can't answer the phone for some reason. I called over 50 times no answer and customer service wasn't any help either. In fact they were quote rude.
Make sure eir is your last option before getting any help because i know I'll never go back to eir for anything at all.

Amazing customer service, I went into this store after being at a few competitors for help with credit on a special phone for older people. I met Ken and all I can say is it was the best customer service that I have ever received ANYWHERE. This man went out of his way to help me, I am a businessman who travels all around the world and I just wish we had people like Ken in our company. Thanks again Ken!

Bit of a Bro'Mance happening yesterday in there, was OK but just ok, deals were alright but I had to go back 5 minutes after leaving because he did not switch something back on, I have been set up on a 2 year deal
I hadn't gone in for a 2 year deal but hopefully all will be grand ? absolutely spotless clean store to go into I must say
I'd recommend it either way

Went to Eir in the Eyre square shopping centre to get my mum a phone today. I honestly cannit speak highly enough of Brad. He was honestly one of the most patient, pleasant and informative sales people I have ever come across. This young man should and will go far. He was just spectacular. Thank you so much!

Literally cannot remember the last time I was treated this badly as a cutsomer.

Two working. The girl was already attending a customer so I went to the guy that was there.
No name tag (not surprised), but should have got his name.

The guy was basically a mix of being incredibly impolite and having zero interest in working.

Every one of my questions were being answered with things like
"But...you know you can do all this on the app"
"But I'm trying to tell you that.... "
"But I already told you ..."

At that point I ask him
"Do you think that is a normal way to talk to a customer?
I've asked you three times already to check my last top-up date"

He answers "I was waiting for the system to come up because it's slow."
That was a lie since it was only then that he started touching the keyboard.

I probably haven't done justice to just how bad this guy was acting. It was really unbelievable how awkward and tense the conversation was. Shockingly bad customer service. I went in to get help and ended up arguing about why he wasn't helping me.

Had to go out to the galway shopping centre shop to get proper customer service
(and I did).

I’d give 0 stars if I could. Arrived into shop half an hour before closing and was told “we are closing” and escorted out the door. Young guy chatting to his friends and no masks to be seen. He clearly was still on the clock but was extremely dismissive and ignorant. I really don’t understand why eir hire the people they do and don’t try to improve in customer service. It gets worse every year.

I mean after 20 years of loyalty to your brand i get treated like this! Its beyond a joke. I cant even imagine the amount of money i have spent with this network over the years and to just have my phone number taken from me without any notice didn't seem fair.
I ended my bill pay contract with them after two years and tried to move to Tesco mobile and i was told my meteor number was declined due to Eir having cancelling my phone number as i decided not to choose a ready to go option with them. I had to get onto comreg and make a formal complaint in order to get my phone unlocked and i still have not received my original number back!!
Beyond annoyed and angry at their customer service, no apology or any attempt to make amends for their wrong doing!
