Delicious! We ordered a regular cheese steak with mushrooms and bell peppers and regular fries and a cheese steak hoagie with cheese fries. They give you ketchup, spicy mustard, and bbq sauce to top your sandwich if you'd like. There was plenty of seating and several other food trucks to try while you wait. When we visited they were located at 2730 E. Caesar Chavez, but you can call or follow them on Instagram to be sure of their location. There was a bit of a wait for our order, but it was worth it 🙂

Inside the food truck park next to Ramen Tatsu-ya - one of my favorites for the variety of trucks. I make a meal by ordering from a few trucks and I've been craving perfect fries. Sometimes you just want a krinkle, ya know? These are perfectly crispy and seasoned with salt and pepper. They also are the only reasonably priced fries on East 6th ($3.75 ... I'm not kidding that a few blocks down a side of fries is $8...). I'm a vegetarian so I haven't tried the sammies, but they looked amazing and a bonus: the staff was kind and my order was called out quickly.

Located corner of Caesar Chavez & Pleasant Valley. Definitely one of the best Cheesestakes in town. Lightly seasoned fries were great also. Customer service was above and beyond. The gentleman who not only took my order, also cooked it, and was willing to bring my order to my car while I do not wait in the 100 degree weather. He took a lot of pride in the business.

I order a Philly cheesesteak and I must say it exceeded my expectations.? Im not a heavy eater but I for sure downed that whole sandwich in one setting. Fyi I couldn't resist of taking a bite or two before I could even pull off. 10/10 I will be definitely be trying it again.

I DD one of these a few months ago and was excited after reading some of the reviews. It wasn't bad but it also wasn't nearly as good as I was anticipating. The bread seemed cheap and the amount of meat was pretty small compared to other 'steaks Ive had. Could've been a one off though. I would probably try it again however, see if I caught someone at the end of the night and just didnt care.

I am from the Northeast and i visited Austin Texas back in June, I heard about this place called R&Bs steak and Fries. I heard that they have the best cheesesteaks in all of Texas. So me being from the Northeast who is always in Philly eaten cheesesteaks I made a point to go give this place a try. Let me tell you!!!!! The service was amazing, the 2 guys working the truck were very friendly, along with they were the ones making the sandwiches. The food was out of the world. The bread was perfectly toasted as it should be for a cheesesteak. The melted cheese was poured on just right. The fries were crispy and had a great taste. If you are around Austin Texas and are looking for a great cheesesteak place to eat, this is the place to go to. Next time I visit Austin I will make sure to stop by again.

Excellent cheesesteak! I ordered mine with the whiz and onions. The fries were seasoned well and had a nice crisp exterior with soft insides (as fries should be). Definitely one of the best cheesesteaks in Austin! Plus the vibe is super chill and the service was great — coming back for sure.
