I've reached out in regards to a vacant retail location in Newport Beach CA for another candy shop my business partners and I were interested in. We reached out to leasing agent Kristin Walseth (Senior Director, Leasing) to which she replied back fairly quick. Her questions was, "could you please tell me more about your business" to which I explained what it was. Mind you this location is near a high school and receives fairly good foot traffic for the age group our business is targeting, not to mention the surrounding stores fit the description as well. Kristin Walseth went dark! NO REPLY! I emailed her again asking if she received my initial reply and again NO REPLY! I gave her a couple of day's thinking she might have a couple "off days", NO REPLY!
It's been 5 days!
The professionalism is very disappointing, extremely sad and almost pathetic. A simple, "this doesn't fit what we are looking for" or something would have been more respectful. Kristin Walseth is not the person you will want to deal with if you're looking to expand or start your business with Irvine Retail Properties. And if you do get her please ask for someone else. Save yourself the time!
