The property itself was very nice and well kept, it is easy to acknowledge the fact that it had the highest of qualities and was absolutely perfect. It was beautiful to say the least. Unfortunately, this is an extremely disappointing, but necessary post. Recently, Bob, Michelle, Diego, Nick, and Carmen Nunez finished their home and moved in full time to the Lake Point Drive neighborhood. The Lake Point neighborhood is vibrant with young children of all ages. For the past six months, Nick and Diego have recklessly sped up and down the streets of Lake Point Drive during site visits to their home construction site and since moving in full time. Myself, my wife, along with other concerned neighbors have pleaded with them to slow down on multiple occasions. Their responses are sarcastic and dismissive, without change. What’s more disheartening, are the parents Rob and Michelle’s lack of response and actions after several occasions.

After several months of no action from Rob and Michelle, a potentially fatal accident was avoided yesterday. Nick Nunez was speeding at a high rate around the cul-de-sac and hit our neighbor’s brick mailbox head on. Not only was Nick speeding, as he’s done for several months, the police confiscated drugs from Nick at his home. This was after Nick hit the mailbox and left the scene of the accident. Classic hit and run case in which the Polk County Sherriff had to track him down at his house. Thank goodness no one was killed or injured. Children play in this area every day, throughout the day. This is very alarming for a parent with young children.

Nearly (24) hours later, the bricks and cinder blocks are still in the road and in my neighbors’ yard. Rob and Michelle have not cleaned up the mess left by their son, Nick. This speaks volume of their lack of character and accountability. To leave the mess in our neighbor’s yard is disappointing. It’s obvious they think this is a joking matter.

With that being said, let this post serve notice to anyone considering doing business with either Rob or Michelle. I’d be cautious of their business practices as well as their lack of accountability. Michelle is a realtor in Lakeland. Rob Nunez a local building contractor (R Nunez Homes) that inherited his Dad’s home building business. Rob advertises that R Nunez Homes builds maintenance free communities that are safe. Well, currently Rob and Michelle are endangering our neighborhood and creating maintenance for others. It’s time Rob and Michelle practice what they’re selling to Lakeland.

It’s my hope they provide help for their son Nick and cease enabling him. In the meantime, they need to keep him from sitting behind the wheel of a vehicle. He’s a liability in our neighborhood and community.

Purchased a home valued over $370,000 from R. Nunez and had issue with side yard having ruts, not leveled and sodded correctly. The condition of the yard makes it difficult for my elderly neighbor and myself to walk upon. Numerous attempts have been made via email, phone calls and meetings with Mr. Nunez to address this safety issue. After approximately 3 meetings in person, Mr. Nunez has refused to fix the problem and provide good customer service.

In June of 2017 my fiancée and I viewed one of their properties. This appears to be family owned and operated. The mother and son initially quoted a deposit of $1500 for the rental property, which was also listed in the online advertisements associated with the property. However, when we asked how soon the property would be available we were directed to the developer, who responded by asking "how much of a deposit are you able to make bc the deposit we are asking for is substantial" we then asked how substantial knowing that on three different occasions it had been advertised to us at $1500. He eventually advised he was thinking somewhere in the range of $5000. Bait and Switch advertising is a federal offense. To this day we are unsure what prompted him to quote us such a substantially higher deposit even after being informed of the deposit his wife son and online advertisement quoted.

Additionally, the amenities in the community were unimpressive. We do not recommend this developer and we're not pleased with the lack of integrity with which we were handled.

We happily made a $5000 deposit on a different property with a different developer the following week.

The best part of our experience was the teenage son of the developer who was professional, kind, and informative.
