I love the bins! The staff are super friendly and kind and remember regular customers. I’ve found everything from a brand new sapphire to doc martens to Patagonia jackets (and tons of rare books)!! You have to dig. I usually plan on being there 2-3 hours so that I have time to look through and can be there for several bin rotations. If you don’t like to dig for treasure, I recommend going next door to the retail store where you pay a little bit more for organized merchandise ?

I didn't care for this one as much as others, I didn't like going through the bins, just seemed messy and anything of real value risks being damaged by people just going through them, well I guess the real valuable stuff still is sorted out and put on eBay, but some things still slide through. No matter the changes though I'm still a huge fan of goodwill and what they do.

Solo Win

If you've ever been to a real Goodwill outlet store with all the bins, I wouldn't come to this one.
Instead of going by weight or their own signs the cashier we had tried to nickel dime me on almost every item in my cart. Weighed out my metals weighed out my clothing items.
The signs state unless things are marked especially then you go by the pound unless it's shoes glassware etc that is weighed differently... She tried to get me to pay $5 each for these $8 bins brand new. I told her I didn't want them, then I asked her about the signs and why things aren't being weighed out and she's just giving me whatever price she could come up with. She explained to me that's how her store manager trained her for special items that I pulled out of the bin.

Even though I just saw her weigh the person in front of me, their cart by the pound. Full of miscellaneous items like mine.

Literally took half the things out of my cart because of her whack pricing. Definitely not coming here again to find out that half my cart is going to end up costing me $50 for some severely used items at the end of the day when I used to pay for a fairly heavy cart in other stores, at most $20 bucks.

This is the best goodwill I've been to by far! It's always clean and well organized, the staff are friendly and helpful. I never leave empty handed!

I really don't like the store portion. It's almost like goodwill meets tj Maxx. The outlet side is always packed.

I decided to give the location a second try and go into the bins, and it is still wildly busy, but it's a bargain!! I went in pretty pessimistic, I spent 2 hours going through bins and walked out with 16lbs of clothes ( 3/4 of a washer full) for $26. It's some work and I wouldn't go if you don't have much time. Would recommend gloves, some stuff was a bit suspish but otherwise it was a good experience. I will go back.

The new airway heights location is incredible!!! I actually feel safe going here versus the old location. The old one was getting pretty sketchy. This store was clean, organized, and the staff here were incredible. They were kind and more than accommodating!! It’s super neat there’s a regular goodwill store right next door too. We’re already planning our next trip here. We spent about 4 hours total between both stores. I wanted to stay longer, but I got hungry so we left to eat! — I don’t understand the negative reviews left behind on here. Their pricing rules are posted on the walls and the rules are very clear and easy to follow! If you’re unsure on something, the staff is more than happy to clarify. Bin shopping is way different than traditional thrifting. Do not come to the bins with ANY expectations!!! Some days you score, some days you don’t 🙂
