Thank you Dr Gamblin for all your help. I've been a patient of Dr Gamblin for years now, with and without insurance. He doesn't take insurance anymore because of the hassles of dealing with insurance companies. You pay him get a receipt and file it with the insurance company. When I've been out of insurance told where to get the best deal on RX without insurance. I am so much happier since I started seeing Dr Gamblin. He has helped me so much and improved my quality of life. He has been kind and listens, but keeps me on track in our conversations because I sometimes wander once I open up. I have continued to see him even when my insurance has been available and paid out of pocket because he is worth it. Im on a very tight budget but he is worth every penny. He dialed me in very quickly to the right medication and then we just had to adjust dosages, from the 1st visit. Ive seen others who never got it right. We discussed what i tried what did or didn't work and why. No Russian Roulette with my brain chemistry.

Dr. Gamblin is great about getting prescriptions called in quickly, returning phone calls in a timely manner, and scheduling appointments. I lost my medical insurance and called Dr. Gamblin and he said that I am not a patient of his if I don't have insurance and I can't pay his $140 an hour session to get my meds. Never had a Dr. say that to me. Sounds like he is only interested in money and not trying the best interest of "an ex client" Pretty sad Dr. Gamblin. I am sure someone out there will help me. Pray you don't lose your medical coverage and pray if you do lose it then you better have a $140 cash price to pay this good ole boy or he won't see you anymore. I will tell everyone I know including couselors not to refer you any business. Real Dr.s should care more about their patients then about the money. Your not a nice person Dr. Gamblin. Your bedside manner needs a lot of work along with your lack of empathy.

He kept speaking to me like I was child, refused to let me finish any of my sentences, and insisted on prescribing medication to me that I told him doesn't not work for me which ended up making my mental health worse. When told him I would be in between insurance plans, he treated me even worse and said he'd consider treating me if only I paid the $140 per visit. I'm only on one medication right now that can only be prescribed by a psychiatrist to keep me functioning, BUT he said it was perfectly safe if/when my husband and I decided to get pregnant. LIES. It is actually terrible. Luckily, I'm early enough in my pregnancy to have it taken care of.
