My first time to DSMLA, and wow what a space and nicely curated pieces. The boy that helped us was so nice and friendly, sadly couldn’t recall his name. We came at the last half hour of closing, and he was patient and walked us through the space and explained each collection. This was one of the highlights during my LA trip!

Edgy, creative, fresh quality of high end clothing, shoes and accessories. It's a scene. The outdoor front is a white retail store with security (who I thought were doormen) located inside. Plenty of street curb parking. You have to walk through this retail boutique to get to their low key cafe called Rose Bakery. The cafe outdoor space had much white, my gf said it reminded her of Greece.

Be prepared to feel under-layered when entering Dover Street Market. Everyone seems to be wearing ten thousand layers here. I love the edgy and creative pieces in there! Super unique pieces. But its definitely not a place within my budget to splurge at. Undercover anit-mall feeling type of boutique store? The art and style of retail display to devor is alot of fun.

The restroom could be smelly as it didn't seem like there was ventilation when I visited it. The toilet paper was partially soaked? Not a very functional restroom with even it's faucet fixtures. I'm very surprised about the restrooms being only 2 genders.

This retail space is located across the street from Lot 613 where burner Halloween parties years back and when the art district didn't exist yet or at least expand so far.

DSMLA was fabulous! The vignettes were pristine, the decor minimal but artistic. The workers weren’t pushy. I did have to track someone down to get in a fitting room. It wasn’t busy. The hardest part was finding parking but when we left we discovered the lot which wasn’t half full, so we know for next time. Great experience.

Dover Street carries a variety of high end brands. Each designer has their own section, and the displays are all unique. Even if it’s out of your budget, it’s cool to walk through. Staff was friendly and not pretentious at all.

There’s a little cafe at the back of the store. Didn’t give it a try, but it seemed busy.

They have their own parking lot, and there’s also plenty of free street parking.

Overall experience was amazing. Jade and 2 of her other colleagues were very accommodating to check sizes for shirts and sneakers that I had my eyes on.

The safety protocol inside the store was implemented. Masks on, social distancing and hand sanitizers were at designated spots.

The staff at the cafe were so warm and accommodating as well. Love the service too.

Tip: If you're just there for regular items, go to the regular lane. The other lane is for drops.

While visiting to take photos with our old retro medium format cameras, we discovered this gem of a fashion store. After browsing and purchasing some T-Shirts for my son we decided to have some refreshments on a warm So-Cal Day. We may not be famous but we sure appreciate the diversity in front line designer clothes and the sereneness of Rose Bakery Cafe where my son took an impromptu group portrait controlling the camera with his phone. Left to Right Architect Marie-Claude Soulard, Taiwanese American Designer FU, Film maker hopeful Matias my son and this Photographer Gabriel. What a great Cafe to unwind and hang with old friends.
