I give her 2-3 stars because she diagnosed me correctly.
Her attitude is pessimistic - it made me feel like the diagnosis is going to end my life and that I will not recover. She mentioned I should seek therapy only for support, and made me question the side effects of the medication. I told her that I don’t feel good and I quote “you feel perfect”.
I am healing every day now and I wish her the best of luck.

I went to Dr. Paunica because I suspected I might have ADHD. Unfortunately, I now believe she took some kind of personal revenge on me due to her being Romanian and me being Turkish. It’s shocking to see a supposedly educated doctor behave this way. While a standard session normally costs €50–60, she charged me €150 for the first session. After I completed three sessions, she simply stopped replying to my emails when I tried to book a follow-up. I can’t find any explanation for this resentful behavior other than prejudice.

She even made passive-aggressive remarks like “I’m Romanian,” nodding and sighing — something I absolutely did not expect from a healthcare professional. If she had a bit of historical knowledge, she’d know that the Ottoman Empire was actually the empire that killed the most Turks in history. Holding a grudge against me for something that’s completely irrelevant is unacceptable.

As for the ADHD issue — yes, we did a test, confirmed what we already suspected (that I have ADHD), and she recommended a book. That was it. Her approach to treatment was essentially: “Here’s a book, figure it out yourself.” It was honestly a huge waste of both time and money for me.

Did not obtain any particularly useful information or treatment for depression, just 2 hours (why 2h?) of improvised therapy at a higher price. Saying "Do more exercice" and scheduling a family session for one entire month later are not worth the +150€ price tag. Dr Paunica shied away from even the lightest antidepressants, which were directly given to me at another clinic.
Also, doctor, when I cancelled the family appointment (again, why not refer us to a specialized therapist?), you could have had the courtesy to reply. Once the cashflow stops, patients seem to become complete strangers.
