UPDATE- Amanda wrote back on my review and is clearly defending the employees, I have reviewed other reviews that say the EXACT SAME THING about the employees at Groovy’s. Employees start following them and making them feel uncomfortable as well. And yes one employee was putting up clothes but the one in the white shirt was hiding behind me the entire time. We are not stupid! We know when someone follows us and makes us feel uncomfortable! Were you the lady in the white shirt that day? Not sure, but that woman with the long white sleeve shirt did make me feel uncomfortable! I went and spoke to friends about this and they also said that’s the same reason why they stopped going as well! So please don’t come to me saying that they were just working cause they were chatting up a storm not doing anything before I got there.

Wow, I just left from the Forney location. There were 2 girls talking by the register when I arrived with my child. As soon as I walked in they made me feel SUPER uncomfortable by following me the whole time! I have shopped here numerous times, and I ended up leaving early cause how uncomfortable they made me feel. I was hoping to look around and get some new clothes for the fall but that was not a good experience! If yall think every person that goes in there is going to steal, yall should invest in cameras. Not everyone has the mentality to go and steal ESPECIALLY with their child. Very upsetting! Do better.

Want something different than the average cookie cutter store? This is the place! They have a little bit of everything you're looking for including all the latest fashion. Clothes, shoes, jewelry, bags, scarves, gifts, ect... Friendly employees and clean atmosphere. Highly recommend checking it out!

The boutique is very cute. Has lots of amazing quality accessories. It's very bright and colorful but not in a tacky way. Four star because it didn't have plus size options. Like at all.

Every time I visit here is a wonderful experience. The girls are so helpful and I always find what I need whether it’s for myself or a gift! The owner is wonderful she went above and beyond on my last visit by helping me with my earring lol. Although it wasn’t part of her job description she did the best she could by helping me! Such a great business!

I've shopped at the Forney & Rockwall Groovy's for years. LOVE LOVE LOVE the choices. The staff at both locations is always courteous and extremely helpful. Never disappointed even when shopping for a quick gift. From sweaters to Llama cups and tiny little succulents - AWESOME!

Me and my daughter visited Groovy's a few weeks ago. Love it!!! This is our new spot. My 16 year old daughter said this is where she's buying all her clothes from now on. Great for me since the prices are very reasonable! Thanks to the owner. A great place to shop without having to leave town.

ZERO stars if I could! I have never been so disgusted by a shop in my life and I’m from NY!

I am a white female. I was with two people who were not. From the moment we stepped foot in the door, one woman ran to the back of the shop to WATCH us and it was very apparent we were being profiled. Without knowing WHO we were, how dare you think we were going to steal! Not that I feel the need to explain it, but want you to understand your poor treatment of anyone. The woman I was with is a BAD A$$ military veteran and we had her son with us who has Asperger syndrome. He is one of the kindest souls you could meet. Just because of his appearance and how he decides to feel comfortable, you JUDGED! Shame on you all!

The other reviews on here with your bad welcome and attitudes are not lying. Your 5 star reviews are fake and probably friends and family.

I will never be back. I hope you learn to accept people for who they are and not assume everyone is there to steal. You’re losing valuable business, but you clearly don’t care. Don’t even try to make any excuses and give a bunch of blah blah. It’s lies to make people shop there. Good luck, true colors always shine.

Such cute clothes and pants but I couldnt stay long enough to shop because I felt judged and unwelcomed by the emoplyees the whole 5 minutes I was in there. I was the only one not talked to nor greeted out of the few other ladies in there, and everytime I turned around they were staring at me with such judgy eyes. Brought me too tears. Ill do my shopping online though because I really loved the clothing!
