I have shopped at this small intimate HEB for 20 years and have always been please. Until the last several months. It’s nearly like they are under new management.
Their stock is always low or out. Today they were out of No Sugar Added Bluebell ice cream. The other local stores have plenty. For weeks they’ve not had peaches. All the other stores do. They got rid of the smaller shopping carts that were SO convenient. Why? The other stores still have them.
I have been forced to begin shopping at the Hutto store and the one on 79 just so I can get the items I want. I’m not sure what’s happened over the last 6-8 months but I hope they get it together. Many of my friends have noticed similarities as those I’ve described.

This HEB is a standout in terms of convenience and product selection. Its prime location makes it easy to access, and the store is consistently well-stocked with a wide variety of items. The checkout process is usually swift thanks to efficient staff, and the store's interior is always clean and inviting. I'm particularly impressed by the produce department; the fresh fruits and vegetables are abundant and high quality.

Great experience at this HEB, everyone was super helpful. Lisa at the self checkout with the id check and coupons, one paper and one on the app. Xander, Emmy and Lydia helping with samples. Lilia dm Beverly at the bakery helping get birthday cupcakes. Such a great time at this HEB making shopping fun and productive. Thank you all for your help today!

Good standard HEB grocery store. Not an HEB Plus store. Good grocery variety. A bit limited on fresh produce offerings than larger HEB stores.

I've been shopping at the H.E.B. on Gattis School and Red Bud for many years now because it's conveniently close to home. Lately the service at the meat counter has gotten so bad I'm now going to Randalls or the H.E.B. Plus in Hutto to buy steaks. There's rarely anyone at the meat counter to help customers and I've wasted too much time waiting around for someone to possibly show up. Several years ago there was a bell on the counter you could ring to get someone's attention - it kinda worked but now even that's gone. I understand it's not economical to have an associate solely dedicated to working the meat counter, but they really need some way for customers to call for assistance - or better yet make it self-service. What really makes me mad is that other associates stocking shelves or even the meat isles see me waiting for assistance but do nothing (Oh, I guess that's not their department).

I usually like going to this H-E-B cause its not too busy and a nice store. Being I also work for H-E-B but today being a customer I hate saying this but the store should know that a lady named Dianne at self checkout was very rude to me. The attitude was unnecessary. I had a lot of big items in which I don’t mind checking out myself and chose that option as I didn’t have many items. The weight machine kept giving me trouble so she had to keep coming over and thats her job so the comments she could have kept to herself. Please speak to this partner.

I prefer this location because it’s mostly chill. Had some probs here as well, but nothing as crazy as other stores. Looking forward to leaving Texas and going back up north where there’s a great store called market basket. Heb might be large, but give me a small, quality chain like Market Basket any day.
