I called IT Retail Support when I could not get into our POS System due to a password request. It took a total of 10 minutes for Harry to help me take care of that problem for all of my registers. He was kind and professional. I love reaching out to the IT Retail Support team. They're always very friendly and helpful. Any issue that arises, they are just a phone call away and take care of all your IT issues.

My first day using the software didn't go as smooth, shocker! But I called support and a kind voice answered and his name was Harry. I was literally panicking, cause I was 20 mins away from opening and my touch screen and customer display was not working. Harry was so calm and kind and just had this relaxed vibe about him, that I immediately was cool and calm. Harry was able to get it to finally work, with 2 minutes to spare before opening. The support team at IT Retail was responsive, the reason for the 4 stars was the after hours support was not so much!

Unable to add vendors and when you try to change the selling price, the cursor goes everywhere. The system as well as people, when you call them, is very unreliable that's why I would just normally call them when google can't help me anymore, that's how bad their customer service is.

I was on the phone yesterday with their tech team and spoke with Harry and I told him few months ago there was someone trying to help me to see why we are not able to accept cards from Capital One and he said that's a merchant issue and connected me with their merchant department. I asked him before hand that I need a report that would show me how much was the cash/debit/credit card transactions per day so I can compare it with my bank statements, he obviously doesn't wanna listen. The main reason I called was because I want to know how their deposit system from merchant works? They combine deposits from separate dates and Tamia, from their merchant dept, said " I have to check it with my colleagues tomorrow." Seriously

We ordered two POS system for our grocery and restaurant business almost a month ago because the system we are using are gonna be discontinued. I was hopeful that it will be a smooth transition but it turned out to be a nightmare so far because our merchant services is not working. Imagine going back and forth because your pin pad in front of you is unable to accept payment. It's really not a problem if we are not busy but what if it's rush hour? I don't get how come they only set us up for one merchant ID when in fact, from day one, I ordered and paid for 2 POS stations. Nothing makes sense!
Additional comment:
The way you receive inventory doesn't make sense either.
You should be able to put the date when the items were delivered as well as the invoice number for reference, it's a good way to see and compare which vendors have lower prices as well as recordkeeping.
I don't get why you are not able to change the selling price when you receive the invoice, your mass product editor is useless for me as well. Markup margin should show so it would not be a waste of time through each item you receive at product maintenance when you could have modified it when you are receiving the product. I don't get either why you are not able to add new items when you are receiving inventory?! Isn't it the whole point of receiving inventory is to make sure all items are recorded so its ready for sale? So for example I got a new item and Im in the middle of receiving invoice, what will I do? This system doesn't even have option to hold an receiving inventory, all it can do is waste your time coz for me its better than getting a PDF copy of the items I just put in the system, waste of paper. I hope the monthly fee will be in good use so the programmers can come up with new updates that businesses can use

I do not recommend IT Retail for any small business. Recently we just found out that we were being double charged for a whole year as IT Retail also known as POS NATION opened a second account under a bogus name and was double dipping from our checking account. We have a small business and it’s already hard enough, but to have our pos company take advantage of us and open a second location under a fake name is unacceptable….

The service at IT Retail has always been good. But after the pandemic, service slipped a little. We were waiting for quite a while to get our system updated to the newer version of IT Retail. Louis started handling our Account and things started happening very quickly. He has been fantastic in helping us solve old problems and deal with any new ones that may pop up.
I am very grateful that he is on the Team. He has restored my faith in IT Retail. I hope he is there for a long time. Nick

I love the software. It's one of our greatest advantages to have such a good software in this competitive industry. We have used it for about 26 years now. They are constantly developing, staying up with the best technology, and trends to help small independent grocers. I love their customer focus / loyalty program. Their service has also been fantastic. I would say Donna, Kristin, William, and Louis have been a great help for our stores.
