This will always be home. You really have to be from queens to understand the culture of the colosseum. If you’re shopping you can find some great things in there for a decent price, But it’s nothing like a regular mall.

The ticket Patrol guys and women give you a ticket before your meter is even out I was on the end of 165th Street near the salon and they wait till you're going to the store and then slap a ticket on your car with no envelope I just put a dollar in and before you before my dollar was up the city's trying to make money the city wants free money they tell their staff to give a ticket no matter what because they have to make a quota they shouldn't even be working it should be a camera and the ticket from a camera they don't need a job because they're not doing their job right they're doing it illegally they're giving tickets illegally you can't even go to Jamaica Avenue and Shop you put money in the meter and as soon as they see you going into a store because they're watching you from the corner of their eye and little Nicks and crannies watching who's going to be the next victim so that they can make their quota this is ridiculous the city is going to s***

Not pleasant at all. Dangerous. There was a guy around with a bat ready to fight someone. Children everywhere. Def. Not a place for tourists.

I was at the Mall to film a couple of scenes for a television show. They dressed me and about four other guys in similar wardrobe: sweater, jacket, jeans or corduroy. We called ourselves the "Cosby Crew" because it was so reminiscent of the TV dad from the 80s - 90s.
There was a teriyaki place underground in holding that I really wanted to try. It looked delicious and I kept promising the matron that I would be back to sample her wares (!). Unfortunately when we wrapped, they were closed. I really love me some teriyaki, so I hope I get a chance to go there again. Thanks for the reminder!

They have their trash bins placed outside and hit my car and they didn’t do anything about it, had to call the insurance company for them to handle it. Barely any shops inside it’s not what it used to be. I heard they were going to shut down the whole mall sooner or later.
