We had a great experience being fitted for climbing shoes at the Sportiva retail store. It wasn’t a rush to the shoe wall to make a sale but instead the shoe expert spent time with us understanding our needs in detail. After that they patiently guided us through the selection and fitting process. Surreal that there are experts still available to help with a purchase. I contrast this with someone simply filling a role and earning a wage which unfortunately is the norm in most retail shops. We perceived an incredible amount of value in visiting Sportiva in store for our purchase.

If you need some help from someone who knows their stuff, this is the place to go. The staff is insanely knowledgable with helping you dial in whatever gear you need. In my case, finding the right climbing shoe for my feet and climbing style. Love the brand, quality, and this new store!

Finally made it to the Boulder La Sportiva store--what a great place! The building itself is very cool and the service and selection are as cool as the building.

The staff was exceptional, knowledgable and very helpful but not pushy at all.

Olivia worked with my son to find the perfect pair of climbing shoes. She knew all of the shoes very well and was able to help him narrow it down to the appropriate size and specific shoe for his climbing style.

They have a beautiful selection of clothes and approach shoes also. I am looking forward to our next trip to La Sportiva.

The manager of the store is horrible! I purchased some shoes here and took them around the block to try them out. They didn’t work for me. I took them back to the store for an exchange and he inspected the shoes for a good five minutes and located some dust on them and said they weren’t returnable. His solution was for me to buy another pair of shoes from a store that does not care about its customers at a discount no thank you! I will never buy from the store again, purchase shoes from REI or Fleet feet because they have a satisfaction guarantee!

They had the shoes in the size that I wanted, but I’m glad that I had figured that part out before I walked in. The employee working with me had a know-it-all attitude without actually providing any useful input. I ended up reasoning through his cryptic responses myself. I’m bummed that Bentgate didn’t have the size I needed, because they earned my purchase far more than this place. They also don’t have a mini wall to test how the climbing shoes will feel, which is really something that a La Sportiva branded store should have. Judging by some other low score reviews, I don’t think I’m the only one who’s had this problem

If you like La Sportiva hiking shoes and boots, this is the store to go to. Very comprehensive inventory and fantastic discounts on footwear that is changing colors for the new model year. Don't be intimidated by the location. Although on Broadway just north of Pearl Street, there is free customer parking right in front of the store.

Amazing experience! The staff were friendly immediately upon my entry and the customer service was amazing throughout. I went in looking to find my next climbing shoe and find the best size. Aiden was super knowledgeable and helpful and patient as I tried on several different sizes of a few different style of shoes. All my questions were answered and I left having the answers I was looking for!
