Not a great experience shopping here, wasn’t very welcoming and definitely felt like I was being watched. I ended up buying a pair of earrings that honestly I could have bought at retail price. Wasn’t much of a deal.

Ann and her NPR staff are just amazing and I love shopping there. Those are big words coming from me because I typically go out of my way to avoid the experience.

They take a lot of time getting to know you and deciding on just the right styles, color combinations and accessories to bring out all your positives. Recently, I was having my professional photo done so it was important to look as good as possible. I brought in my NPR wardrobe purchased on prior visits and we mixed and matched, added a beautiful new necklace and voila I was ready to go. Now that’s customer service. I have my very own personal wardrobe consultant at a very reasonable price.

And the icing on the cake … I get tons of compliments on my NPR outfits. I am a happy shopper!

The staff make shopping a delight, choosing quickly great dresses and making excellent choices, thus shortening the usual agony of dress shopping. I love the 2 dresses that I would never have chosen for me---but they had the insight and knew what to pick. A delightful place and excellent experience. I will be back!

As a recent college grad, I've had a difficult time transitioning to business casual or business professional outfits, from my limited college wardrobe. The ladies at NPR always help me pull awesome pieces that I can mix and match for work, so that I get the most for my money. The quality is outstanding and I never feel like I am wearing the exact same thing as everyone else. I love the compliments I get around the office!

They will not greet you if you’re Black and they will continue to ignore you while greeting other guests and helping them. It’s happened to me twice, won’t happen again. Also have it on video.

NPR Samples is pretty much the only place I shop for work and casual clothes. They have designer clothing that is fabulous and unique - and at great prices! Every day I get compliments on my clothes even from strangers. Owner Ann Fulton is a stylist, so she is hugely helpful in steering me to new looks that work, and she has taught her staff well how to do the same. Don't be deterred by the store's out of the way location - it's a hidden treasure!

Yes, prices are lower but when you get to checkout there’s a sign saying they will add 8% to “ cover costs”. So you are not paying wholesale any more
