The was a very nice place . They know what they’re doing! They have been on the Texas Bucket List show. Write up in several magazines. Very unique treats and flavors. Wide variety of stuff. You can watch when they are creating these awesome flavorful treats . I liked the chocolate filled with Irish cream liquor. I’ll be back ! Other items for sale , like very cool tables and unique items .

The staff is nice and friendly. We had a lot of questions and they helped us out quite a bit. It's quite a bit more expensive than regular candy. But definitely worth it. We purchased a variety and nothing dissatisfied. Everything is quite good.

Lives up to its quintessential name. Perfect display of chocolate collections. They have free samples too. They have specialty beverages and lot of chocolate confectionary to choose from. Everything that we tried in our mix and match box was too good. They have little sitting area too. The museum style chocolate origin related displays were very informative too. You can stop by to the other side of the shop and see chocolatiers working on their magic live. Overall great experience.

There is a reason they are celebrating 40 years in business. One of the best chocolatiers we've been to in the US, and it even rivals European ones we've been to. Staff greets you when walking in. Wide selection to choose from and the young staff is very knowledgeable about their products/ingredients. We had three different truffles and three different barks. All excellent. The store is also extremely clean and well taken care of. Prices are reasonable considering this is F'Burg Texas and chocolate in general has become expensive. They also honor military. Kudos to the owners and staff.

Super cute and quaint chocolate shop!
Huge assortment of chocolate choices.
They have plenty of holiday themed treats also.
I thoroughly enjoyed watching them make the chocolate through the glass where they have set up this unique experience.
I purchased the pecan turtles, which were very tasty.
I also tried a few of the chocolates with alcohol centers.
They are very intense and are one of those either you love it, or....
If you're in the area and strolling through this neat little town, be sure to stop in and grab a sweet treat.
You'll be glad you did.

Highly highly recommend this place! We stayed in Fredericksburg for 2 nights and spent most of our money on the liquid center chocolates every single day. The Raspberry wine stole my heart as well as the peach schnapps one. We had lots of different employees help us between the 3 days we went. Bryson was by far the friendliest, most patient, and respectful one there. He gave us amazing service and quickly came to us so we didn’t have to wait.

Wow! With some many chocolates it was hard to choose. I picked up a 6 count box, plus 3 different types of bark for gifts for family when I get home. I highly recommend visiting this neat place. I personally am looking forward to trying the salted caramel.

The staff were super friendly and patient while I made my selections too.

Quintessential Chocolates has the BEST chocolates! I put their chocolates in my husband’s advent calendar every year. They are delicious and stay fresh for the 25 days they are in the calendar. And Cindy is always my “go to” person! Amazing!
