Great idea, save you a lot of time, instead of standing in a queue you can pick your prescriptions 24/7, from a machine located at the pharmacy. This also frees up staff members to deal with other customers. Would definitely recommend to family and friends. It is something other pharmacies should be look at using this system. Well done St James Pharmacy for introducing this system

Told to go to optician and optician has told me that I need the ointment I went to the chemist in the first place for. Pharmacist didn’t even bother to take a look. Numark pharmacy a lot more helpful.

Consistently wait for over a week on repeats. Never answer the phone, long queues inside the pharmacy and new app never updates.

Contactless service (24/7 pick up point) good on the slim occasion that the staff put your prescription in there.

Send code for prescription, go to collect and the machine jams. Can't get medicine. No contact number to report. Not really acceptable. Update....try calling them...they cut you off continually

The automatic dispenser is great. It’s difficult to contact the pharmacy via the telephone, it’s often engaged or just rings out which is extremely frustrating. Could an email, text or messaging system be introduced to deal with placing repeat prescriptions? This would reduce the telephone traffic and remove the frustration of your clients.

Having gone to several chemists around East Kilbride, this is probably the best. The staff are helpful and the automatic dispenser is a god send. As I am linked to one of the worse GP practices in Scotland, certain problems have occurred and prescriptions have taken a while, but they have tried to speed things up or arrange alternatives. I see some supply issues, this is an issue across all pharmacy's in the area. I see it in the centre, at Calderwood, at Greenhills and have been told the same at Hairmyres Hospital. Since joining this pharmacy, they have NEVER sent me back to the GP with a shrug, but have done their best to help me.

Appalling service! Just had to wait 3 weeks for a repeat, just kept getting fobbed off with made up excuses, blaming suppliers etc. Don't try and phone them because you'll waste your time, they don't answer. Quite simply, they don't deserve to be in business.

Sign up for their automatic prescription service. They send you a text and the items can be picked up from their machine at your convenience. Very efficient.
