In moments of grief, the support we receive from others can make a world of difference. Recently, I found myself navigating one of the most difficult times in my life—the loss of my mother. With her memorial service approaching, I was filled with dread when I discovered that the memorial cards I had ordered from Amazon would not arrive in time. It was a chaotic moment, but then something wonderful happened. Thanks to Staples, I was reminded that exceptional service still exists.
The company from Amazon refused to let me cancel the order because it was a “special order,” leaving me feeling trapped and anxious. In my panicked state, a co-worker suggested reaching out to Staples—a suggestion that would soon turn into a glimmer of hope.
With a mixture of skepticism and hope, I contacted Staples to see if they could assist in printing the memorial cards on such short notice. Much to my relief, not only did they agree to print the cards, but their service exceeded all my expectations. They processed my order promptly and even provided more cards than I originally requested. Unbelievable poor customer service! Long waiting time… just for an order pick up! There is only one person at the print center in such a big store and the worst part is that almost all persons seems to be not trained enough. Very disappointing. I had to pick up my online order today and almost everyone in the store look like they have no idea what’s going on and their performance as customer service rep. Especially at the “customer service “ (!!!!!!) counter was beyond ridiculous. I would definitely suggest to train your staff better as this branch is in the heart of Cape Coral and it’s very difficult to understand why you put people at the customer service who are not trained enough even makes you feel they do not really care and are just standing there with no real encouragement to do this job. Hope you try to make better improvements.

Stop by the store to ask if I was able to return a printer I purchased a month prior that is malfunctioning. Spoke with the store manager Sean. He asked if I had my receipt. I said I no longer have it, but I bought it with my account. He said no problem we’ll be able to look it up for you. Go ahead and bring it in. Friday the next day Bring the printer and go to customer service and explain to the sales associate at the desk what is happening where he has to go ask another manager, she comes up and tells me no receipt no exchange. I described Sean a short, gray haired man, told me this wasn’t a problem and he would look up the receipt , I spoke with yesterday and he said to bring it in. didn’t they say oh well Sean’s actually here we’ll go get him now. He comes to the register and claims to have never Seen or spoken to me in his life. Long story short I’m still stuck with a defective printer, and the people running this store are complete P.O.S! There’s a reason these stores are going out of business, buy your essential office needs through Amazon with good customer care and you won’t have to deal with liars.

I went to Staples to find toner cartridges for my HP printer and Staples had a good inventory selection. I also found a discounted price on line through Staples and was able to get that discounted price at the store checkout when I asked. This provided about a 5% reduction in price.

Realized that printer ink is a
MASSIVE SCAM!

Why buy ink when an entirely new printer could be cheaper

$55+ for ink...
OR
$50+ for a brand new printer...

Turns out that it's much easier to say screw it and just go to the beach
