I love apples, and where better to get a variety of fresh apples than in the "Capital of Apples," Wenatchee? The Stemilt Market is a lovely place for apple lovers. I almost bought from all the varieties they offer. They also sell pears and peaches. I recommend this place to everyone who visits Wenatchee.

As a non-local coming from the Seattle area, I love stopping by the Stemilt store for apples & other local goods! ?☀️ So nice to see all the local products made here in our beautiful PNW state. Prices are great, at least compared to those in the area I come from. Bought an entire boxful of various apples—can’t wait to bite into them! ?

The store has a very cozy atmosphere. The apples they sell here are just about as fresh as you can get! I highly recommend you check it out for yourself. Good prices too.

P.S.
The picture I uploaded is of one of the main machines used for weighing the apples, finding imperfections inside and out with its sophisticated cameras, and dispersing product throughout old stations many production lanes!

Actual phone conversation today...
Me: Do you sell apple cider made locally? Answer: Martinelli's!
Me: Umm...Not Martinelli's but maybe ones made here
Answer: No, haven't had those in years.

Sometimes it's not about what you say but how you say it, especially when you're working in the service sector.
I decided to skip the 30 min roundtrip to a store staffed by someone who found it appropriate to mention Martinelli's when I stated I was looking for local products.

Be cautious about buying fruit here.
They will not tell you that you are getting apples that are coming out of CA. Stopped at a fruit stand just prior to stopping here, and bought Goldens fresh picked. Stopped here to buy a box of Goldens to make and can applesauce. Obvious the Stemilt apples were not this years crop. Called and they said they were out of CA and I should have asked. I will never get fruit here again, nor will I ever recommend them.

We are Long haul truck drivers doing a delivery for you, it was very nice that I could take some produce with me, even though it was a 103* out, it was worth the walk.
A nice young man named Brice help me pack up all my stuff so I can take it with me on my walk.
He was very helpful to me.
Took one star back cuz you guys are a little spendy

The apples are reasonably priced and you can find all of the specialty apples (when they are in season) as well as the regular ones. The rest of the items in the store are overpriced (the ice cream is fine and in good portions though) and I rarely get anything besides apples. The employees are quiet but nice, no welcomes or thank yous but that’s fine. It’s a nice store and I will continue to shop here.

Fresh produce and some seasonal produce. Good quality. I would like to see more varieties. Always seems to be the same 4 apple varieties. A box of pears now and then... If you like those, there's always plenty.
